Day 56: Abby has started this week a little behind where we were last week. For the time being the doctors have decided to stop her feedings, and have restarted her IV nutrition. Abby has been showing signs that she was not feeling well and that an infection was possibly starting somewhere in her body. We have all had a very long day today, and hopefully Abby will be back up to speed soon. In the meantime please say an extra prayer for her, and the doctors and nurses who take care of her.

Day 57: Thank you all for your prayers. I am feeling better today, but still not 100%. Hopefully I am through the worst of it and can get back to my regular food and work on getting some of these IV's out.

Day 59: HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!! - I just took it easy today and caught up on some rest. I did begin feeding again and will start the process of working my way back up to where I was before I got sick.

Day 60: I am finally feeling like my old self again. I had a good day today and Mommy even held me tonight. My lungs are starting to do better as well. For the first time, as Mommy and Daddy were leaving tonight, I was able to breathe normal air without extra oxygen to help me. I still need the CPAP for pressure but this was a big step for me.

Day 61: I spent most of today just resting. Hopefully by conserving my energy I will reach 3 pounds by the end of the weekend.

This is my friend C.P. with his dad, Cary. C.P. is a former "24-weeker" and he is now doing great! He stopped by the NICU to say hi to all the nurses, doctors and RT's who helped him get healthy.
