72 hours and going strong::)) every "good" day is a "grateful" day. Although our hopes are fading of Abby landing the lead role in the next Coneheads movie, we are excited to see her round head taking shape! *

This is Brooke. She is one of Abby's angels! If you are reading this during the day then Brooke is sleeping...for she spends the night hours showing off her Strawberry Shortcake scrubs to Abby. She takes amazing care of Abby while we try to sleep and prepare for another day with our little girl... *

This is my Aunt Alivian. She has been here my entire life. She was even in the room when I made my grand entrance. She has been to the hospital to see me every day, and prays for me constantly. I love my Aunt Aliv very much. *

These two ladies are Kitty and Daniele. Kitty is the nurse who has been helping my Mommy learn how to pump my lunch so she is ready for me when I am old enough to eat. Daniele is one of the Nurse Practitioners that oversees "A Pod" - my home until I move in with the bigger babies. *

Nurse Robyn sits by my side almost all day, and takes great care of me. She makes sure that I get everything I need, and answers Daddys questions no matter how many times he asks the same ones. *

Dr. Zanelli was in charge of UVa's Newborn Emergency Transport System (NETS) team the day I was born. Her team rushed over to the hospital where I was born and took care of me as soon as I left Mommy. *

WE MADE IT TO 96 HOURS -WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!! *

Hmmmm...I think I may have Mommy's big feet. *

This is Dr. Kaufman. He is actually married to Dr Zanelli. He visits me every morning when he makes rounds, and lets Mommy and Daddy know how I am doing on a daily(sometimes hourly) basis. *

This is my nurse tonight(12/21/05) Her name is Marsha and she is expecting a baby girl of her own in March - Little Kaylee.
Tomorrow night, Marsha said she might let me sleep on my stomach - YAY!!! *

Five Days and hanging tough. The doctors and nurses tell me I'm lookin' great. *

This is Laura, and she is awesome! She is a nurse practitioner that has overseen a lot of my stay so far. She has a lot of positive energy that I feel, and it makes each day so much easier. *

This is my Grandmother Kathleen. She is my Daddys Mommy, and who I was named after. When she comes to visit me she just stares at me, and smiles and whispers how much she loves me. She keeps the nurses happy by bringing them cookies and fudge. I can't wait until I can try some myself. *

Martha and Dana are two of the nurses that have been taking care of me. Dana was my nurse for the first two days, and is also expecting her own baby in April. Martha Has been helping little babies like me for 18 years. They are both great ladies, and very sweet. *

This is Kelly and Paul, Kelly is one of the nurse practitioners that help figure out what medicines I need for the day. Paul takes care of my lungs, and makes sure that I breathe ok. He is a respiratory therapist. *

Elizabeth was my nurse the first day I arrived. She is very sweet, and has two little girls of her own at home, Kate and Bridgett. *

This is Dr. Klas. He took care of my mommy while I was in her tummy, and helped bring me into this world. *

Here is Dr. Klas with my grandfather. Believe it or not, my grandfather delivered Dr. Klas' first baby. *

Aly is awesome. She has been taking care of me during the night. This really helps my Mommy and Daddy sleep well at night knowing she is taking great care of me. *
